What is slow release iron and why is it different?
Our gummies contain an encapsulated iron that when consumed, is released slower than competitors so as to minimise any gastric or stomach upsets.
Once chewed, the encapsulated iron in our gummies can take up to 3-4 hours to be released as it bypasses the stomach through to the part of the intestine where the iron is best absorbed.
The iron then enters the blood stream and is transported throughout the body to cells that need iron to function optimally.
